HOW IT WORKS
BREW
BEERMKR’s four heating elements throughout the machine to bring the brew up to temp during the mash step. This heating process breaks down the grain’s starches into sugars, creating wort.
FERMENT
Proper fermentation is the key to high quality beer. BEERMKR's CO2 monitoring and temperature control system can see exactly what is happening inside your beer, and it’s solid state heat exchanger keeps the yeast at the ideal fermentation temperature automatically. The optimal temperature profile for the yeast is already known by the machine, and you can change the profile manually if you wish!
CARBONATE
Throughout the fermentation process, waste and trub has fallen into the WasteBag, leaving you a BeerBag full of clean delicious beer. Simply remove the BeerBag and transfer it to your BEERTAP, screw in the provided CO2, and set in your fridge. We’re getting close!
SERVE
After a couple days, your beer will be fully carbonated and ready to pour. Enjoy!
3 TIER SYSTEM
BREWTUB
The BrewTub is completely sealed during the brewing process, allowing the machine to reach the necessary temps and keep out any unwanted debris.
BEERBAG
Your beer stays in the BeerBag throughout the entire process, never receiving excess oxygen or germs like you would in traditional homebrewing.
WASTEBAG
The WasteBag is designed to capture all of the unwanted imperfections that are created while brewing. With the help of our vibratory system, almost all waste is collected at the bottom of the machine.
SEALED AND SANITARY
BEERMKR brews and ferments in a closed system, eliminating the risk of contamination and oxidation, which are the leading causes of bad beer.
When fermentation is complete, simply transfer your BeerBag of clean beer into the BEERTAP. No need to rack and expose your beer to harmful bacteria and oxygen.
Each new MKRKIT includes a fresh BeerBag and WasteBag, so there’s no need to clean and sanitize before a brew.
The BrewTub, WasteBag, and Valves can be easily detached and tossed in the dishwasher.
HEATING AND COOLING
BEERMKR creates a closed and insulated environment, allowing precise temperature control throughout the beer making process.
During brewing, BEERMKR activates all of the enzymes present in the grains to break down starch and protein while achieving a system-wide pasteurization.
During fermentation, BEERMKR creates the perfect environment to keep the yeast happy and productive, maximizing the speed and efficiency in which they convert sugar to ethanol.
And did we mention BEERMKR can cold crash and lager?
APP CONTROLLED
You can monitor the entire beer making process right from your phone on the BEERMKR app. When it’s time for the next step, the app will notify you to pitch yeast or dry hop.
If we see something wrong, we can send a push notification to check on your beer.

WIFI AND SENSORS
BEERMKR has an array of sensors and regularly reports back to the cloud to tell us how your beer is doing at any given minute.
The built-in CO2 monitoring system has a live look at yeast activity so the system can automatically transition the fermentation between phases (lag, growth, rest, conditioning) within its unique temperature profile.
If any divergences are detected, the system will notify you to check in on the beer.
